In case you want one of the apps with more space you can drag the handlebar between the apps and set it as per your need. If you are a multi-tasker then the recent apps button from Google will help you to get done with your tasks easy. In custom ROMs this feature is very common even though you need to press a bit longer to toggle between the apps. With this feature from Google, you will be able to make the switch with ease.
